About Us
The laurels is exactly 0.5 miles from the centre of Felsted. There you will find three restaurants and a traditional tea/coffee shop serving yummy patisseries and cakes.
- Chelmsford the home of Essex Cricket Club and proud to have a John Lewis store close to the banks of the river Chelmer where you can sit at a riverside cafe. Chelmsford is only a 20 minute drive from the Laurels.
- Cambridge is 28 miles
- Stansted airport is 9 miles.
The rear of the Laurels has landscape gardens and opens onto fields . You can easily stroll along the edge of the fields enjoying the countryside. There are many local walks and trails.
Tricia who runs the show is friendly warm and welcoming. Tricia also makes the most fresh and wonderful breakfasts.
Stan likes nothing better than to chat to the guests. He does all the background stuff such as setting up this website. Oh and did I mention he likes to chat to people.

1 - We have light colours wool carpets in the rooms and kindly request that outdoor footwear is removed and stored in the shoe rack provided.
2 - We offer Bed and Breakfast and expect that guest will arrange dinner at restaurants nearby. For the benefit of other guests we do not allow consumption of food in the room e.g take away food.
